NEW HAVEN POOLS EXTEND HOURS TO HELP RESIDENTS COOL DOWN DURING EXTREME HEAT

(7/7/2010) (NEW HAVEN)--New Haven Parks and Recreation is extending open swim hours at four pool facilities throughout the City in an effort to help residents cool off from high temperatures this week. Open swim will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the remainder of this week (Wednesday through Friday) and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The extended hours apply to the pools at the following facilities:

Hillhouse High School

Wilbur Cross High School

John Martinez School

Conte School
